Connect BigQuery to Orbits.

Track BigQuery datasets and warehouse growth signals.

What you can report on

Dataset inventory, table footprint, storage, and warehouse activity.

01

Connect BigQuery

Connect a Google account with BigQuery read access. After OAuth succeeds, Orbits will list the BigQuery projects that account can see so you can choose the right warehouse context for this project.

02

Choose cloud project

Select the Google Cloud project that owns the BigQuery dataset this client or product should track.

03

Choose dataset

Select the dataset this project dashboard should summarize. Keep one connection per dataset when different clients or domains need isolated reporting.

04

Customize dashboard

Use plain language to tell Orbits which warehouse signals deserve the most weight, like largest tables, dataset growth, or overall storage footprint. Claude uses that guidance to shape the cached dashboard summary and sections, not to modify anything in BigQuery.

05

Confirm setup

Orbits stores your project-level setup, caches vendor-shaped data, and generates the first dashboard. You can refresh it later or reopen customization without leaving the page.
